Regional Business Development Manager, Data Center Cooling (North Asia)

Overview:
An European water treatment equipment solutions MNC is looking for a Business Development Manager to lead initiatives in the Data Center cooling segment across North Asia. This role focuses on driving growth through market development, customer engagement, and innovation in cooling applications. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with sales, marketing, product management, and engineering teams to uncover opportunities and deliver value-added solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and align go-to-market strategies for the Data Center segment in North Asia.
- Support sales teams in customer engagement, exhibitions, and training.
- Coordinate communication and knowledge sharing across regional and global teams.
- Conduct training sessions to strengthen technical capabilities of sales teams.
- Identify innovation opportunities and collaborate with product development teams.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders including customers, OEMs, consultants, and contractors.
- Provide technical expertise and support to internal teams and customers.
- Conduct market research to stay ahead of industry trends.
- Represent the company at trade shows and industry events.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, or related field.
- 10+ years of experience in Data Center sales or business development.
- Experience with Direct Liquid Cooling systems.
- Strong knowledge of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermal management.
- Familiarity with sustainability and energy efficiency practices in Data Center cooling.
- Willingness to travel (~30%).
