An established and growing firm is seeking a strategic and results-driven Regional Director to lead its Land Development operations in the Phoenix, AZ area. This leadership role is focused on launching and expanding the firm's presence in the region, building a high-performing team, and ensuring the successful execution of development projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and growth of land development operations in the Phoenix market.
  • Design and implement strategic plans to drive business expansion, operational excellence, and client satisfaction.
  • Recruit, mentor, and manage a team of skilled engineers and development professionals.
  • Oversee project delivery, ensuring quality, timeliness, and compliance with all applicable regulations.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local agencies.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement strategies to enhance profitability.
  • Ensure adherence to internal policies and industry standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in land development, with a strong understanding of the Phoenix-area market.
  • Demonstrated success in business development and team leadership.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Strong analytical and decision-making abilities.
  • Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience managing multidisciplinary design teams or regional operations.
  • Familiarity with local market dynamics, permitting processes, and industry trends.
  • Proven ability to implement innovative tools and processes to improve efficiency.
  • Proficiency in budget management and financial forecasting.
