Compensation: $105,000 - $145,000 base salary, depending on experience


Position Summary

A confidential organization operating in the mission‑critical infrastructure space is seeking an experienced Site Manager to support complex data center construction projects. This role is primarily remote, with occasional on‑site presence as required by project phase. It is not a heavy‑travel position.

The Site Manager will act as a key operational leader, supporting site execution while coordinating across internal teams, clients, contractors, and specialty vendors. The ideal candidate is a self‑directed construction professional who can operate independently, communicate effectively, and maintain accountability across multiple workstreams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Promote and maintain compliance with company safety expectations and site documentation standards
  • Participate in project meetings and support schedules, milestones, and reporting
  • Serve as a liaison between internal project teams and external stakeholders, including clients, general contractors, trades, and consultants
  • Support project scheduling, site logistics, and quality control efforts
  • Assist with receiving, inspection, and documentation of equipment and integrated construction components delivered to site
  • Coordinate with client site operations and construction partners throughout the project lifecycle
  • Track and report site progress, risks, and open issues to support overall project oversight
  • Coordinate across internal departments to identify issues and drive resolution
  • Support project close‑out activities, including as‑built documentation, operation and maintenance manuals, warranties, and final turnover materials
  • Assist with punch list, substantial completion, and final acceptance activities
  • Coordinate with field technicians and third‑party vendors during equipment start‑up, testing, and systems integration
  • Act as a knowledgeable on‑site representative when present, supporting decision‑making and issue resolution
  • Maintain a professional, customer‑focused approach and help sustain long‑term client relationships

Qualifications

  • Experience in construction management or project management, supporting multiple active projects
  • Strong ability to read, interpret, and work from construction drawings
  • Proficiency in common construction and project management tools, including Microsoft Office and construction document control platforms
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time‑management skills
  • Ability to prioritize effectively and coordinate resources to meet deadlines
  • General understanding of construction market conditions and trends

Preferred Background

  • Bachelor's degree in construction, engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience)
  • Senior‑level experience supporting mission‑critical or data center construction projects
  • Strong working knowledge of MEP systems and coordination requirements
  • Experience collaborating with general contractors, MEP subcontractors, equipment vendors, and commissioning partners
  • Familiarity with applicable codes, standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Project management certification a plus
