The Role
We are seeking an experienced Sales Manager to lead and grow the company's extrusion machinery business in India. This role is responsible for driving capital equipment sales, managing key accounts, developing new opportunities, and engaging customers through technical‑commercial value selling.
The successful candidate will operate as a hands‑on, field‑based sales leader, working closely with application engineering, service teams, and global HQ.
Key Responsibilities
* Drive sales of extrusion and compounding systems, including complete lines and high‑value capital equipment
* Own the end‑to‑end CAPEX sales cycle: lead generation, technical discussions, proposals, negotiations, and order closure
* Engage closely with plastic processors, compounders, recyclers, and specialty manufacturers
* Conduct plant visits, technical audits, and solution‑based sales discussions
* Develop and execute regional sales strategies aligned with business growth targets
* Manage key accounts and build long‑term customer relationships
* Coordinate with application engineering and service teams during proposal, installation, and commissioning phases
* Track pipeline, prepare forecasts, and report regularly to senior management
* Represent the company at industry events, customer workshops, and technical seminars
