The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity exists for a commercially driven Sales Manager to lead business development and channel growth initiatives across Queensland.
This role will be responsible for expanding the company's installer, distributor, and reseller network while driving revenue growth for a market-leading residential energy storage solution. You will play a pivotal role in strengthening the company's presence across the region and building long-term partnerships with key industry stakeholders.
Whether you're actively developing new business opportunities, onboarding channel partners, or delivering product training, you'll be at the forefront of one of Australia's fastest-growing renewable energy segments.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development & Territory Growth
- Identify, engage, and onboard new distributors, installers, and reseller partners
- Develop and execute territory growth strategies to increase market penetration and sales performance
- Generate new business opportunities through proactive prospecting, networking, and customer engagement
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline to consistently achieve revenue targets
- Monitor market activity, customer trends, and competitor movements
Channel Partner Development
- Build and maintain strong relationships with channel partners across the region
- Support onboarding, activation, and ongoing development of partner accounts
- Drive partner engagement and growth initiatives
- Identify opportunities to increase partner revenue and market share
Product Promotion & Sales Enablement
- Deliver product demonstrations, training sessions, and sales presentations
- Support partners with product positioning and go-to-market strategies
- Represent the business at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings
- Collaborate closely with technical and marketing teams to maximise market success
Sales Operations & Reporting
- Achieve quarterly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records, forecasting, and reporting
- Provide market intelligence and customer feedback to support business strategy
- Contribute to ongoing sales planning and regional growth initiatives
About You
- Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or channel sales
- Strong prospecting, negotiation, and relationship-building capabilities
- Experience selling technical, electrical, renewable energy, solar, or energy storage solutions is highly regarded
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated, results-driven, and capable of working autonomously
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage and grow a territory
- Experience with CRM systems and sales reporting tools
- Willingness to travel within Queensland as required
Highly Regarded
- Experience within solar PV, battery energy storage systems (BESS), or the electrical industry
- Existing relationships with installers, distributors, wholesalers, or channel partners
- Experience growing channel sales networks and developing new territories
