Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced SCADA Manager to join a leading team in Taiwan. This role is pivotal in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance (O&M) of the company's SCADA systems within the renewable energy sector. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in power, renewables, or the transmission and grid sector, and must be bilingual in English and Chinese. A solid understanding of IT and cyber security is also essential.

Key Responsibilities:

Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Readiness: Oversee the implementation of SCADA systems to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
System Management: Manage and monitor SCADA systems, ensuring they are functioning correctly and efficiently.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to SCADA systems promptly.
Data Analysis: Analyze data from SCADA systems to identify trends, anomalies, and areas for improvement.
Compliance: Ensure all SCADA operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Cyber Security: Implement and maintain robust cyber security measures to protect SCADA systems from potential threats.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including IT, construction, engineering, and operations, to support SCADA-related projects and initiatives.
Training & Development: Provide training and support to team members on SCADA system operations and best practices.

Qualifications:

Experience: Proven experience in SCADA system management, particularly in the power, renewables, or transmission and grid sector.
Language Skills: Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese is required.
Technical Skills: Strong understanding of IT and cyber security principles as they apply to SCADA systems.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in an international environment.
