Location: Nationwide - May report to any office. Remote work considered for candidates outside reasonable commuting distance.
Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $100,000 - $150,000

Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sediment Remediation Specialist to support and lead complex environmental projects across the U.S. This role focuses on the design and implementation of sediment remediation strategies, including capping systems, dredging operations, and alternative remedial technologies. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise, project leadership experience, and a passion for mentoring junior staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the design and execution of sediment remediation projects, including in-situ capping, dredging, and innovative remedial approaches.
  • Develop and review engineering plans, specifications, and cost estimates for sediment remediation systems.
  • Manage multidisciplinary project teams, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
  • Conduct site assessments, feasibility studies, and data analysis to support remedial decision-making.
  • Mentor and train junior staff, fostering technical growth and career development.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure regulatory compliance and technical excellence.
  • Contribute to business development efforts by identifying opportunities and supporting proposal development.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in sediment remediation, including capping system design, dredging, and alternative remedial solutions.
  • Proven experience managing environmental projects and leading technical teams.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state environmental regulations and guidance.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, civil engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Professional Engineer (PE), Professional Geologist (PG) license or ability to obtain is a plus.
