Salary: $130,000-$200,000

This remote role is with a global engineering firm that develops custom environmental and water treatment systems for industrial and high-tech applications. The organization serves sectors such as semiconductor manufacturing, solar panel production, and data center infrastructure, offering solutions for managing water usage, wastewater, and environmental compliance. The Vertical Market Leader will drive growth by applying technical expertise, building strategic relationships, and supporting proposal development for projects in semiconductor fabrication, solar panel production, and data center operations. This role involves close collaboration with sales and marketing teams.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical guidance on water usage, wastewater treatment, and environmental systems in semiconductor, solar, and data center operations.
  • Monitor industry trends, regulatory developments, and major projects across the microelectronics and data center sectors.
  • Build and maintain a network of professionals and facilitate opportunities to present company capabilities.
  • Review technical proposals and documentation for accuracy and relevance to the vertical.
  • Support strategic planning and sales initiatives to expand market share and customer engagement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical, chemical, or environmental); advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience in industrial engineering roles.
  • 7+ years of direct experience in microelectronics or data center environments.
  • Familiarity with water treatment systems and environmental compliance in high-tech facilities.
  • Travel capabilities.
