Salary: $120,000 - 170,000

Position Overview:

An industry leader with a reputation for excellence in providing environmental consulting, engineering, compliance, and technical field services to clients across diverse market sectors is seeking an Air Quality Senior Project Manager. This role will contribute to ongoing business development efforts with new and existing clients, execute technical project work, and train and mentor junior professionals.

The Air Quality Senior Project Manager will report to the National Director of Air Quality Services, play a key role in expanding air quality services, and help shape future business strategies in this area. This position offers company wide visibility and significant opportunities for professional growth and development while collaborating with senior leaders, project staff, and clients. We are looking for a strong technical candidate with exceptional interpersonal skills and a passion for air quality consulting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development by expanding relationships with existing clients and identifying new opportunities for air quality services.
  • Advise clients on permitting and compliance strategies to achieve business objectives within evolving regulatory frameworks.
  • Serve as technical lead on air quality projects, including NSR, PSD, GHG emissions, TRI reporting, Title V renewals, CAA compliance audits, NESHAP compliance, and state/regional permitting.
  • Mentor and train junior staff in preparing permits, emissions inventories, compliance plans, and related project deliverables.
  • Represent the company in client meetings, presentations, and at industry conferences and professional organizations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in engineering, environmental science, or a related discipline.
  • Approximately 10 years of relevant experience, preferably in environmental consulting.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or other relevant professional certification is highly desirable.
  • Strong technical writing, verbal communication, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to lead projects and collaborate effectively with clients and internal teams.
