Position Overview
The firm is seeking an Aviation Project Manager to join its team in Atlanta, GA. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment and is eager to contribute to a growing company.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
- At least 10 years of relevant experience
- Direct experience in aviation engineering
- Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Strong foundational knowledge of key engineering disciplines, including:
- Surveying
- Geometric design
- Hydraulics and hydrology
- Stormwater management
- Site grading
- Pavement design
- Construction administration
- Utility coordination
- Competency in the Microsoft Office Suite
Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, permitting, and approval process from concept through project closeout, including construction‑phase support
- Oversee, mentor, and allocate tasks among a team of engineering professionals
- Conduct site visits for inspections, evaluations, and construction support
- Ensure all work complies with applicable local, state, and federal regulations
- Maintain ongoing communication with clients and coordinate with multi‑disciplinary internal teams
- Develop and track project schedules, budgets, and design deliverables to meet client expectations
