Senior Architect
A well-established multidisciplinary architecture and engineering firm is seeking an experienced Senior Architect to join its growing team. With decades of experience delivering impactful projects across a variety of market sectors, the firm offers a collaborative environment where architects work alongside engineering, environmental, and planning professionals to develop thoughtful, sustainable, and client-focused design solutions. The Senior Architect will play a key leadership role in project delivery, client development, and team coordination while helping to drive the growth of the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Leading architectural projects from design development through construction documentation and construction administration.
- Serving as a primary client contact, building and maintaining strong client relationships while supporting business development and strategic growth efforts.
- Coordinating multidisciplinary teams, including in-house structural, MEP, civil, and environmental engineering professionals.
- Providing technical leadership, code review, quality control, and expert design guidance throughout project execution.
- Participating in presentations, industry events, and networking opportunities to strengthen market presence and generate new business opportunities.
- Developing innovative design solutions while balancing client goals, project budgets, regulatory requirements, and technical challenges.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Architecture required; Master's Degree in Architecture preferred
- 10+ years of professional architectural design experience.
- Registered Architect (RA) license required; NCARB preferred.
- Experience with public sector, municipal, educational, or other publicly funded projects is highly desirable.
- Extensive knowledge of architectural design, construction documentation, building systems, and applicable codes.
- Strong proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Photoshop, and SketchUp.
- Excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and project management skills.
