Building Envelope Consultant

We are seeking a skilled Building Envelope Consultant to join our team. This role involves visiting a variety of construction sites to observe, document, and report on the installation, repair, and testing of building envelope components, including roofing, waterproofing, façade elements, coatings, sealants, and glazing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct site observations and prepare detailed reports on building envelope installations and repairs.
• Perform condition surveys and diagnostic testing of existing walls, roofing, and waterproofing systems in accordance with industry standards.
• Review and interpret technical specifications, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Work outdoors in varying conditions and environments, including confined spaces and uneven terrain.
• Communicate effectively and collaborate within a team while maintaining the ability to work independently.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong background in construction with familiarity across residential, commercial, and industrial practices.
• Previous experience in forensic consulting is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams; strong written and verbal communication skills.
• AutoCAD experience is a plus.
• Ability to travel as required (expenses covered by the company).
• P.E or RA licensed preferred

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

• Comfortable working at heights using lifts and ladders.
• Ability to lift and carry materials up to 30 lbs., bend, and transport equipment.
