Transportation Planner (Consultant / Senior Consultant)
This international client is seeking a motivated and collaborative Transportation Planner to join their Planning & Design team. In this role, you'll help shape multimodal, sustainable, and equitable mobility solutions across the U.S. and Canada. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team of planners, economists, designers, and technical specialists to deliver high‑impact projects for public‑sector clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Contribute to and manage transportation planning projects, including multimodal planning, regional planning, TDM strategies, transit needs assessments, smart city planning, BRT service evaluation, and economic impact analysis.
- Manage workstreams, ensuring high‑quality delivery and adherence to scope, schedule, and budget.
- Support proposal writing, client engagement, and Planning & Design business development activities.
- Mentor early‑career team members and support a collaborative, fast‑paced project environment.
Ideal Candidate
- Strong consulting skills, including client communication, problem‑solving, and time/resource management.
- Ability to present work clearly-verbally, in writing, and visually (charts, graphics, infographics).
- Experience in governance, policy development, or public‑sector planning work.
- Background working with transportation, housing, land use, or infrastructure agencies.
- Project/team management experience and a track record of successful EOIs, RFQs, and RFPs.

Salary Range:
$80,000 - $110,000 USD annually, depending on experience level (Consultant vs. Senior Consultant), location, and qualifications.
