The Opportunity
Our client is seeking a Senior Lead Electrical Engineer to join its Mission Critical team. This individual will provide technical leadership for the design and delivery of hyperscale data centers and other mission-critical environments while mentoring engineering teams and serving as a trusted advisor to clients.
This is an opportunity to take ownership of major projects from concept through construction, lead multidisciplinary teams, and work directly with some of the most influential organizations in the digital infrastructure space.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead electrical design for hyperscale data centers and mission-critical facilities
- Develop electrical distribution systems, equipment layouts, and power topologies from concept through construction
- Oversee project teams, mentor engineers, and support technical development
- Serve as a primary client contact and help drive project execution
- Review drawings, specifications, RFIs, submittals, and construction documents
- Perform QA/QC reviews and maintain high engineering standards
- Support proposal development, project planning, and resource forecasting
- Champion the use of emerging technologies, digital tools, and AI-enabled workflows to improve project delivery
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- 13+ years of electrical engineering experience
- Strong knowledge of power distribution systems, grounding, lighting, life safety, and mission-critical infrastructure
- Experience with electrical system studies, equipment sizing, and code compliance
- Proficiency with AutoCAD and/or Revit
- Ability to lead projects, manage client relationships, and mentor engineering teams
- Data center or mission-critical project experience preferred
