Senior Electrical Engineer (Power)
This role involves designing and analyzing electrical power systems for industrial and municipal projects, focusing on load calculations, conduit routing, and control system development. The engineer will lead field investigations, troubleshoot systems, and ensure compliance with industry standards, while mentoring junior team members.
Responsibilities:
Lead design and analysis of electrical power systems for industrial and municipal projects.
Conduct load calculations, detailed conduit routing, and motor control center design.
Oversee field investigations, troubleshooting, and system commissioning.
Develop and review specifications to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to execute project goals efficiently.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
10+ years of relevant experience in electrical power systems.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes and standards (NEC, NFPA, IEEE).
Field experience with power system assessments and startup procedures.
Proficiency in MS Word and Excel.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Hands-on experience with power distribution and system integration.
