About the Role
I am working with a leading electrical contractor in Houston that is seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Estimator. This individual will play a key role in preparing accurate and competitive bids for large-scale electrical construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure cost-effective solutions without compromising quality.
Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects.
- Analyze drawings, specifications, and proposals to determine scope and pricing.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and value engineering options.
- Collaborate with project teams to ensure accurate budgets and timelines.
- Maintain strong relationships with vendors and subcontractors.
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in electrical estimating.
- Strong background in electrical contracting or construction.
- Experience with commercial, healthcare, and educational building projects.
- Proficiency in Accubid Classic estimating software.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills.
