A respected environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Environmental Professional to join its growing team in either Charlotte or Raleigh, North Carolina. This opportunity is ideal for a technically strong environmental professional who enjoys solving complex remediation challenges, leading projects, and serving as a mentor to junior staff.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead environmental remediation and Brownfield redevelopment projects from planning through completion
- Serve as a technical resource for remediation strategies and environmental investigations
- Apply expertise in Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Systems (VIMS) and site remediation programs
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and client relationships
- Prepare and review technical reports, work plans, and regulatory submissions
What They're Looking For
- 5-10+ years of environmental engineering, geology, or remediation consulting experience
- Experience with soil and groundwater remediation, Brownfields, and site assessment projects
- Experience with VIMS (Vapor Intrusion Mitigation Systems) strongly preferred for engineers
- Strong technical background with the ability to lead project execution
- Preferred licensure: EIT, PE, GIT, PG
- Excellent communication and project management skills
