Position Overview:
Seeking an experienced Environmental Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic and rapidly growing team. With a diverse portfolio of exciting projects underway, this role offers the opportunity to lead impactful environmental initiatives and contribute to major infrastructure developments.
As a key member of our Environmental team, you will oversee project delivery, drive business development, manage client relationships, and execute complex technical assignments with precision and excellence. We're looking for a proven leader who thrives on collaboration and innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead advanced project planning and development, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and cross-functional team coordination.
- Prepare proposals and contribute to targeted marketing and business development efforts.
- Drive client engagement and support growth through networking and relationship management.
- Apply innovative problem-solving strategies to resolve complex, multi-disciplinary challenges.
- Oversee site inspections and ensure accurate, detailed documentation of research findings.
- Coordinate and manage field activities such as soil boring, groundwater monitoring well installation, and soil gas sampling.
- Perform media sampling, data analysis, and reduction to support technical reporting.
- Provide technical training, guidance, and mentorship to junior staff members.
- Prepare and submit regulatory documentation for CT, MA, RI, and NH compliance.
- Manage data collection, field studies, estimating, calculations, and project file organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or a related science discipline.
- 15+ years of experience in ASTM and MassDEP assessments and remedial activities.
- Proven project management expertise with a track record of successful delivery.
- Strong skills in client relationship management and business development.
- Ability to collect field data, perform measurements, and conduct asset inspections for water and wastewater infrastructure, as well as roadway and utility assets.
- Experience working on projects across multiple New England states.
- Licensed Site Professional (LSP) certification or eligibility to obtain within two years of hire.
- Master's degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, or related science is preferred.
