Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Environmental Project Manager to lead complex remediation and environmental restoration projects across industrial, commercial, and municipal sites. This role is responsible for full‑cycle project delivery - from environmental investigation and remedial design through field implementation, reporting, regulatory coordination, and client management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and lead soil, groundwater, and vapor intrusion investigations and remediation projects.
- Oversee Phase I and Phase II environmental site assessments and develop conceptual site models.
- Plan, design, and implement remediation technologies such as in‑situ chemical oxidation, bioremediation, pump‑and‑treat, SVE, thermal remediation, and PFAS treatment.
- Develop and manage project scopes, budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and resource plans.
- Serve as primary client contact, ensuring timely communication and delivery of high‑quality work.
- Prepare and review work plans, technical reports, feasibility studies, remedial action plans, and regulatory submittals.
- Coordinate with state and federal regulatory programs and represent clients in agency communications.
- Ensure health & safety compliance across all field and contractor activities.
- Mentor and supervise junior and mid‑level staff, providing technical and professional development guidance.
- Support proposal writing, cost estimation, and business development opportunities.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of environmental consulting experience with a strong focus on remediation project management.
- Professional licensure preferred (PE, PG, or equivalent), or the ability to obtain licensure.
- Strong technical background in soil and groundwater remediation, system design, and contaminant fate and transport.
- Experience overseeing multi‑media sampling programs, contractor coordination, and field operations.
- Proficiency with remedial technologies and familiarity with federal and state cleanup programs.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including technical reporting and client presentations.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience mentoring staff.
- OSHA 40‑Hour HAZWOPER certification (current or able to renew).
- Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent projects.
