Position Summary / ポジション概要
We are seeking an experienced Senior Market Analyst to support the evaluation, optimization, and commercialization of energy storage investments within the Japanese power market.

Key Responsibilities / 主な業務内容
* Build and maintain market optimisation models to identify electricity market dynamics, revenue opportunities, and investment potential.

* Run, maintain, and enhance Python-based analytical and forecasting models.
* Pythonベースの分析・予測モデルの運用、保守、および改善を行う。
* Collect, evaluate, and interpret market, operational, and technical data to produce actionable business insights.
* 市場、運用、および技術データを収集・分析し、実践的なビジネスインサイトを提供する。
* Design and manage databases that support market analysis, asset operations, and trading performance assessments.
* 市場分析、資産運営、およびトレーディングパフォーマンス評価を支えるデータベースを設計・管理する。
* Research electricity market regulations, policy developments, and global energy storage trends.
* 電力市場制度、政策動向、およびグローバルなエネルギー貯蔵市場のトレンドを調査する。
* Develop reports, revenue forecasts, dispatch strategies, and business case analyses to support investment decisions.

* Support project development, due diligence activities, technical evaluations, and operational performance reviews throughout the project lifecycle.

Requirements / 応募資格
* Bachelor's degree or higher in Economics, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Finance, or a related discipline.
* 経済学、工学、データサイエンス、数学、ファイナンス、または関連分野の学士号以上。
* Minimum 5 years of experience in electricity market analysis, energy consulting, utility companies, renewable energy, or related sectors in Japan.
* 日本国内における電力市場分析、エネルギーコンサルティング、電力会社、再生可能エネルギー業界等での5年以上の実務経験。
* Strong understanding of power markets, renewable energy economics, and energy storage business models.

* Experience using optimisation, simulation, or forecasting tools.
* 最適化ツール、シミュレーションツール、または予測分析ツールの活用経験。
* Intermediate to advanced Python programming skills with data analysis and modelling experience.

* Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills.

* Ability to work independently while effectively collaborating within a high-performance international team.
