Senior MEP Manager
The MEP Construction Manager acts as the owner's or contractor's on-site representative, overseeing mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and building systems from design through project closeout. They ensure all systems meet requirements for scope, schedule, budget, and long-term performance.
Working largely independently, they manage complex tasks with minimal supervision, support project leadership, and align their work with organizational and client objectives.
The MEP Construction Manager II (MCMII) / Owner's Representative serves as a critical on-site leader and technical authority, acting as the primary interface between the owner, contractor, and delivery teams across all phases of a project-from early pre-construction strategy through commissioning, turnover, and final closeout. This role ensures that all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection, Controls, and associated building systems are designed, procured, installed, tested, and documented in full alignment with the owner's requirements, project objectives, and operational expectations.
The MCMII is responsible for safeguarding project outcomes across scope, schedule, cost, quality, operability, maintainability, and long-term asset performance. Acting as both a technical advisor and field-based decision-maker, the individual ensures that all MEP systems are delivered to the highest standards, particularly within complex, mission-critical environments such as data centers, healthcare, life sciences, or high-performance commercial facilities.
Operating with a high degree of autonomy, the MCMII receives limited direction on day-to-day execution and general guidance on new assignments, while taking ownership of complex scopes and driving workstreams independently or with minimal oversight. This includes leading coordination efforts, resolving technical challenges, identifying and mitigating risk, and ensuring alignment across multiple stakeholders.
The MCMII is also expected to consistently represent the organization's core values, client expectations, and operational standards, maintaining clear communication, accountability, and professionalism across all internal and external interactions.
