Overview:
This is a senior-level opportunity for a Highway Engineering Professional with 10-15 years of experience in project management and transportation infrastructure. The role involves leading highway design and construction projects from start to finish, mentoring staff, and contributing to business development initiatives while applying deep technical expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the lead engineer on multi-disciplinary highway and transportation projects.
Develop and manage project plans, budgets, schedules, and scopes.
Lead the preparation of technical and price proposals.
Monitor project performance and recommend adjustments to stay on budget and schedule.
Build and maintain client relationships and understand their organizational needs.
Manage engineering staff and allocate resources effectively.
Produce high-quality technical writing, editing, and presentations.
Identify and implement process improvements and share best practices.
Estimate person-hours and budgets for new and ongoing projects.
Act as a technical lead in highway engineering and demonstrate specialized expertise.
Oversee quality control and ensure project deliverables meet standards.
Pursue growth in technical engineering or project management specialization.
Qualifications:
BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) required
10+ years of relevant experience in highway engineering and project management
Current PE license in NH, MA, ME, or VT
Proficiency with multiple engineering software programs (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation, OpenRoads)
