Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project management activities within the life sciences industry, ensuring alignment with client expectations.
- Oversee lifecycle management for quality applications and support protocol development and execution.
- Manage project scope, budget, timelines, and change orders.
- Plan and execute medium to large-scale projects, iterating on new ideas to maximize return on investment.
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and work plans.
- Serve as the primary liaison between internal teams and clients, addressing scope, timeline, and budget changes.
- Provide clear and frequent project updates to stakeholders.
- Facilitate problem-solving meetings using methodologies such as FMEA and root cause analysis.
- Coordinate with vendors to ensure timely, budget-conscious delivery of materials and equipment.
- Collaborate with business partners to define project teams and activities.
- Manage cross-functional resources and dependencies to ensure project success.
- Monitor and control project schedules, financials, and deliverables.
- Prepare and present project status reports to senior leadership.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation and conduct post-implementation reviews.
- Track project KPIs and outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Must be willing to work onsite in Portland, ME.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, business, or a related field.
- 7+ years of industry experience.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and creative thinking skills.
- Proficiency with project management tools and methodologies.
- Demonstrated success managing projects through the full lifecycle.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experience in pharmaceutical project management and vendor coordination.
- Strong risk management, team leadership, and analytical capabilities.
- Familiarity with tools such as Word, Excel, and MS Project.
Additional Information:
- Salary range (US): $85,000 - $128,960 USD, depending on experience, location, and market factors.
