With a strong track record across the Gulf Coast and nationally, they partner closely with owners, EPCs, and general contractors to execute high‑impact infrastructure, commercial, and industrial projects.
As project demand in Texas continues to grow, they are expanding their Houston team and are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead construction operations on a diverse portfolio of geotechnical design‑build projects.
Position Overview
The Senior Project Manager will oversee the full project lifecycle - from preconstruction through execution - on ground improvement and deep foundation construction projects. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and has the technical and operational experience to drive successful outcomes on complex geotechnical scopes.
You will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, manage project financials and schedules, coordinate field teams, and ensure safety and quality remain central throughout all phases of construction.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple geotechnical construction projects concurrently.
- Oversee project planning, scheduling, execution, financial controls, and closeout.
- Coordinate with engineering teams during design phases to ensure constructability.
- Serve as the primary liaison with owners, GCs, EPCs, and subcontractors.
- Monitor field operations and support site teams to uphold safety, efficiency, and quality standards.
- Manage procurement, vendor relationships, and equipment allocation.
- Track project budgets and provide accurate forecasting and reporting.
- Identify risks, implement mitigation plans, and drive proactive communication.
- Mentor junior project engineers and project managers as needed.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of relevant experience in geotechnical construction, deep foundations, ground improvement, or related heavy civil scopes.
- Proven experience managing complex design‑build or specialty geotechnical projects.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, field operations, and geotechnical systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and client‑facing skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (PE preferred but not required).
- Ability to travel to project sites as needed throughout Texas and the region.
