The Role
As a Senior Project Manager, you will lead multidisciplinary teams delivering water and wastewater infrastructure projects from planning and design through construction.
You will be responsible for managing project delivery, maintaining client relationships, overseeing budgets and schedules, and supporting the continued growth of the business throughout North Carolina.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage medium to large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Lead multidisciplinary engineering and technical teams.
- Maintain responsibility for project scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risk management.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for municipal clients.
- Develop project execution strategies and delivery plans.
- Coordinate technical staff, subconsultants, and project stakeholders.
- Oversee project financial performance and forecasting.
- Support projects through planning, design, permitting, and construction phases.
- Mentor junior engineers and project managers.
- Assist with proposal preparation, business development, and client growth activities.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients and industry partners.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
- Experience managing municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Strong client-facing and relationship management skills.
- Proven experience leading multidisciplinary project teams.
- Experience managing project budgets and schedules.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Business development and proposal experience is advantageous.
- Ability to mentor and develop junior staff.
