Your Next Opportunity
The Senior Project Scheduler serves as the lead scheduler for assigned projects and is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining project schedules. This role ensures compliance with contractual requirements, monitors progress, and proactively identifies potential delays to keep projects on track. You will collaborate with project teams and stakeholders to create recovery plans and improve timelines when needed. Clear and effective communication is essential.
Key Responsibilities of Senior Project Scheduler
- Implement site-specific and corporate scheduling standards
- Develop and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS)
- Create, update, and manage electrical construction schedules
- Review and validate general contractor schedule submissions
- Monitor relationships, constraints, and milestones
- Analyze critical paths, cost loading, and schedule content
- Prepare and deliver schedule reports for site and corporate needs
- Maintain resource-loaded schedules
- Apply Earned Value Management (EVM) principles
- Manage schedule changes and updates
Qualifications for Senior Project Scheduler
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Advanced proficiency in Primavera Project Planner (P6)
- Experience with Microsoft Project
- Skilled in problem identification, analysis, and resolution
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and adapt to changing requirements
- Self-motivated, proactive, and a strong team player
- Professional interaction with all levels of staff, vendors, and clients
Requirements for Senior Project Scheduler
- High School Diploma required; college degree preferred
- Minimum 10 years of experience as a construction scheduler using Primavera P6
Travel Requirements of Senior Project Scheduler
- 25%-50% travel to job sites and satellite offices as needed
