Position Summary

The Senior Energy Consultant will be responsible for developing new commercial and industrial sales opportunities, building client relationships, and delivering customized energy management strategies. This role is ideal for a driven, outgoing professional with a passion for sustainability and a strong background in B2B sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales by communicating the value of electricity, natural gas, efficiency, and renewable offerings.
  • Source new sales opportunities through outbound calls, emails, networking, and referrals.
  • Research and identify potential clients in target markets using geotargeting and market analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop client-specific pricing options and proposals.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of energy market trends, pricing, and regulatory changes.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ongoing support to your book of business.
  • Partner with internal support teams to ensure seamless execution and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred in Business, Marketing, or related field).
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience, preferably in energy, consulting, or sustainability sectors.
  • Proven ability to build and manage a strong client base.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to simplify and explain technical energy concepts to clients.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working independently.
