Senior Site/ Civil Project Manager
One of my clients, a leading multidisciplinary engineering and environmental consulting firm is seeking a Senior Project Manager / Principal to lead civil engineering projects focused on land development. This role involves managing diverse project teams and overseeing the design and execution of commercial, institutional, and residential developments. From urban redevelopment to new educational facilities, the successful candidate will guide projects through all phases-from concept and design to regulatory approvals, bidding, construction, and final delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage project teams in the development of site layouts, grading plans, stormwater systems, water quality BMPs, and utility designs.
- Oversee project execution, budgeting, quality control, and client communications.
- Mentor and supervise junior engineers, providing technical reviews and professional development.
- Interface with clients, contractors, and local government officials.
- Prepare proposals and contribute to business development efforts.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in civil engineering.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (required).
- Professional Engineering (P.E.) license preferred.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven ability to mentor staff and review technical deliverables.
- Experience in proposal development and project management.
- Business development and client relationship skills.
