Role Overview

The firm is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join their Ohio team. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about delivering innovative and efficient structural solutions. They will lead project teams, interface with clients, and contribute to the strategic growth of the Ohio operations.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead structural engineering design for a variety of building types and materials.
  • Manage project timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
  • Coordinate with architects, contractors, and other consultants.
  • Perform structural analysis and prepare design documentation.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to internal knowledge sharing.
  • Ensure compliance with local codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Participate in business development and client relationship management.

Education & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • PE license required; SE license preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in structural engineering.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., ETABS, RAM, RISA).
  • Experience with BIM tools such as Revit.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
