  • Provide technical leadership and maintain responsibility for engineering quality and project delivery.
  • Conduct QA/QC reviews to confirm designs meet applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
  • Mentor and support junior engineers and technical staff across multiple office locations.
  • Coordinate with clients, contractors, consultants, and internal project teams.
  • Support construction administration through RFI responses, submittal reviews, field observations, and site visits.
  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposals, fee estimates, project interviews, and client presentations.
  • Manage project priorities, schedules, budgets, and technical deliverables.
  • Support projects delivered through Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build procurement methods.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering with a structural concentration, or Architectural Engineering, from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Professional Engineer license in Georgia, or the ability to obtain reciprocity within three months.
  • 6+ years of progressively responsible structural engineering and design experience.
  • Strong experience designing new and existing steel and reinforced concrete structures.
  • Experience with masonry, cold-formed steel, and wood structures is beneficial.
  • Proficiency with structural design and documentation software, including Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural System, RAM Concept, RISA, ETABS, and Mathcad.
  • Strong knowledge of the International Building Code, ASCE 7, the Whole Building Design Guide, and material-specific design standards.
  • Demonstrated project management and multidisciplinary coordination experience.
  • Previous experience leading projects and mentoring junior engineers.
  • Strong written, verbal, technical, and client-facing communication skills.
  • Federal and industrial project experience is preferred.
  • Familiarity with both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build project delivery is desirable.
  • Blast-resistant design experience is beneficial.
  • A master's degree in Structural Engineering or Architectural Engineering is a plus.
