A well-established engineering consultancy is seeking a (Senior) Structural Engineer to join its Water/Wastewater division at its Raleigh, NC headquarters. Responsibilities
- Deliver structural design services for concrete, steel, masonry, and timber systems supporting water infrastructure projects.
- Conduct engineering analyses and calculations for foundations, framing systems, and equipment support structures.
- Prepare technical documentation including reports, design drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
- Manage multiple tasks across concurrent projects, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina or eligibility for reciprocity.
- 5-10 years of experience in structural design for municipal water and wastewater systems.
- Strong understanding of applicable codes and standards (ASCE-7, ACI, AISC, TMS).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.
- Valid driver's license and ability to pass standard background checks.
