A nationally recognized, employee-owned engineering and consulting firm with a strong ESOP program is looking to add a Senior Project Manager for Traffic & Revenue to its Transportation team in Texas. This is a high-impact role working on complex tolling and revenue forecasting projects across Texas, California, and the broader Western U.S.
This firm has built a long-standing reputation in traffic and revenue advisory, supporting major toll authorities, public agencies, and infrastructure investors for decades. You'll step into a visible leadership position with direct client exposure, project ownership, and influence over growth strategy in a high-demand niche.
What You'll Be Doing
* Lead traffic and revenue studies from concept-level (sketch) through investment-grade analysis
* Manage scope, schedule, and budgets across multiple active engagements
* Serve as the primary point of contact for toll authorities and public agency clients
* Drive business development efforts including client meetings and proposal capture
* Partner with senior leadership on go/no-go strategy and positioning for pursuits
* Develop and review technical proposals to ensure quality, compliance, and competitiveness
* Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and career development to junior staff
* Oversee QA/QC of key deliverables and ensure consistency across projects
* Represent the firm at industry conferences and enhance market visibility
What They're Looking For
* 13+ years of experience in traffic & revenue, transportation planning, or tolling advisory
* Proven experience managing traffic demand modeling and revenue forecasting studies
* Strong client-facing background working with toll agencies or infrastructure clients
* Bachelor's degree required (engineering, transportation planning, or related preferred)
* PMP, CCM, or DBIA certification (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
Nice to Have
* PE, PTOE, or AICP certification
* Background in civil or transportation engineering or transportation planning
* Consulting experience delivering traffic projections for tolling or P3 projects
