This team supports utilities and energy developers on high‑impact transmission projects across the U.S., ranging from system expansions and hardening programs to major new build initiatives supporting grid reliability and renewable integration.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead the engineering and design of overhead transmission lines ranging from 69kV to 500kV+.
- Oversee calculations, modeling, and analysis, including:
- Structure loading and analysis
- Conductor and shield wire selection
- Stringing, sag‑tension, and clearance studies
- PLS-CADD, PLS-POLE, PLS-TOWER modeling
- Provide technical leadership to multidisciplinary design teams and mentor early‑career engineers.
- Review and approve engineering packages, drawings, and project deliverables.
- Coordinate with clients, utilities, project managers, and construction teams to ensure design integrity.
- Support bid estimates, proposals, and client presentations as a subject matter expert.
- Contribute to best‑practice development and innovation within the transmission engineering group.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering (Master's preferred).
- 8+ years of experience in overhead transmission line engineering.
- Strong proficiency in PLS-CADD and related design tools.
- Solid understanding of NESC, ASCE, and utility design standards.
- Experience delivering projects for U.S. utilities or EPC partners.
- Ability to guide design teams, manage priorities, and interface effectively with clients.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license highly preferred.
