About the Opportunity

Our client is a highly respected advisory firm specializing in business valuation, ESOP advisory, corporate finance, transaction support, and litigation consulting. They partner with business owners, boards, shareholders, fiduciaries, and executive leadership teams on complex valuation and ownership-related matters across a wide range of industries.

Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Senior Manager to lead valuation engagements, advise clients on strategic transactions, mentor junior professionals, and play a key role in the continued expansion of the practice.

The Role

As a Senior Manager, you will manage multiple client engagements while serving as a trusted advisor to executives, shareholders, trustees, attorneys, accountants, and board members. You will oversee valuation analyses, transaction-related advisory assignments, and financial consulting projects from initial engagement through final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead business valuation engagements for privately held companies across a variety of industries.
  • Manage ESOP-related valuations, fairness opinions, feasibility studies, and advisory projects.
  • Support mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, shareholder transactions, and other corporate finance initiatives.
  • Provide valuation and damages analyses related to litigation, dispute resolution, and expert support assignments.
  • Review financial models, valuation methodologies, and written reports to ensure quality and technical accuracy.
  • Serve as the primary client contact and manage relationships with senior stakeholders.
  • Mentor, develop, and review the work of analysts and managers.
  • Participate in business development efforts, networking activities, and proposal development.
  • Contribute to thought leadership and help drive continued growth of the valuation and advisory practice.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related discipline.
  • 7+ years of experience within business valuation, transaction advisory, corporate finance, investment banking, valuation consulting, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of valuation methodologies, financial analysis, and financial modeling.
  • Experience managing client engagements and leading project teams.
  • Excellent report writing, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain trusted client relationships.

Preferred Experience

  • ASA, CFA, CPA, ABV, CVA, or other relevant professional designation.
  • Experience supporting ESOP transactions and employee ownership structures.
  • Exposure to fairness opinions, transaction advisory, or litigation support engagements.
  • Demonstrated involvement in business development and client relationship management.
