The Opportunity

As a Senior Water Resources Engineer, you'll play a key role in leading complex projects from planning through design and implementation. You'll provide technical leadership, mentor junior engineers, manage client relationships, and help shape the future direction of the practice.

  • Stormwater planning and drainage system design
  • Hydrologic and hydraulic modeling
  • Flood risk reduction and resilience projects
  • Watershed management initiatives
  • Water distribution and recycled water systems
  • Wastewater collection and conveyance infrastructure
  • Municipal infrastructure improvements
  • Water resources planning and analysis

What You'll Do

  • Lead the delivery of water resources and infrastructure projects
  • Serve as a technical expert on complex engineering challenges
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations
  • Mentor and develop junior engineering staff
  • Build and strengthen client relationships
  • Support business development and project pursuits
  • Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and specialty consultants

Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Active Professional Engineer (PE) license
  • 7+ years of water resources or related civil engineering experience
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Experience managing projects and working directly with clients

Preferred:

  • Experience with hydraulic and hydrologic modeling software
  • Familiarity with Civil 3D and GIS platforms
  • Municipal water, wastewater, drainage, or stormwater project experience
  • Business development and client management experience
