Due to continued growth across Florida, they are seeking an experienced Senior Water & Wastewater Project Manager to join their Orlando team and play a key leadership role within a nationally recognised water practice.

This is an opportunity to combine project delivery, client leadership, business development, and team management while working on some of the largest and most impactful water infrastructure programmes in the region.

The Opportunity

As a senior leader within the Florida Water practice, you will be responsible for managing the successful delivery of multi-million-dollar municipal water and wastewater projects while helping drive the continued growth of the business throughout the state.

Working closely with utility clients, municipal stakeholders, and senior technical specialists, you'll oversee critical infrastructure programmes from planning through construction while contributing to strategic growth initiatives across the Florida market.

Projects may include:

• Water treatment facilities
• Wastewater treatment facilities
• Water transmission and distribution systems
• Wastewater collection and conveyance systems
• Pump stations and pumping facilities
• Water reuse and sustainability programmes
• Capital improvement programmes and utility master planning initiatives

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the successful delivery of large-scale water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout Florida.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact for municipal and utility clients.
• Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and delivery strategies.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams across engineering, environmental, and technical disciplines.
• Oversee project performance, financial management, profitability, invoicing, and risk mitigation.
• Lead strategic business development initiatives and support regional growth objectives.
• Identify and secure new project opportunities with existing and prospective clients.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders throughout the Florida water market.
• Lead proposal development, client presentations, negotiations, and contract discussions.
• Collaborate with technical leadership to deliver innovative and cost-effective infrastructure solutions.
• Mentor and develop engineers, project managers, and technical staff.
• Support recruitment, succession planning, and long-term team growth initiatives.

What We're Looking For

Required:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
• Significant experience delivering municipal water or wastewater infrastructure projects.
• Strong project management and client management experience.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams.
• Strong communication, leadership, and business acumen.
• Professional Engineer (PE) licence.
• 15+ years of experience within water and wastewater consulting.

Preferred:

• Established relationships within the Florida municipal water market.
• Experience managing large treatment, utility, conveyance, or infrastructure programmes.
• Strong understanding of project financials, budgeting, forecasting, and commercial management.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing project risk.
• Demonstrated success in business development and winning major municipal projects.
