About the Opportunity
A well-established engineering and consulting firm is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Project Manager to support and lead complex water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the region. This position offers the opportunity to manage high-impact municipal projects, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and play a key role in delivering sustainable water solutions for growing communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects.
- Manage projects involving pipelines, pump stations, reservoirs, distribution systems, collection systems, and treatment facilities.
- Prepare engineering reports, technical memoranda, design documents, specifications, cost estimates, and permitting packages.
- Oversee projects from concept through construction, including design development, bidding support, and construction-phase services.
- Manage project budgets, schedules, quality control processes, and contractual requirements.
- Coordinate internal teams, subcontractors, and external stakeholders to ensure successful project execution.
- Provide mentorship, guidance, and technical oversight to engineering staff and project teams.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong long-term professional relationships.
- Support business development efforts, including identifying new opportunities and assisting with client growth initiatives.
- Participate in industry organizations, technical committees, and professional events to support market visibility and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
- Active Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 15+ years of experience in water and wastewater infrastructure engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of project management experience overseeing medium to large-scale infrastructure projects.
- Demonstrated experience managing the design and construction of water and wastewater facilities and infrastructure systems.
- Experience with one or more of the following:
- Water and wastewater treatment facilities
- Water transmission and distribution systems
- Wastewater collection systems
- Pump stations and storage facilities
- Pipeline rehabilitation and replacement projects
- Proven ability to manage project budgets, schedules, and client expectations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with clients, contractors, regulators, and multidisciplinary project teams.
