[SIN] Electrical/Mechanical Design Technical Lead - Data Center
We are seeking a senior Technical Design Lead to support the delivery of mission‑critical data centre projects across the region. This role will provide technical oversight across design, construction support, commissioning, and handover, ensuring resilient, high‑performing, and efficient engineering solutions. You will act as a key technical authority, working closely with consultants, contractors, and internal teams to assure design quality, manage technical risks, and support successful project delivery.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership across data centre design and delivery phases
- Lead and review engineering designs to ensure compliance with performance and resilience requirements (e.g. N+1, 2N)
- Coordinate with consultants, contractors, and vendors to resolve technical issues
- Identify and manage technical risks impacting cost, schedule, and quality
- Support construction activities, commissioning, testing, and defect resolution
- Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering standards and best practices
Requirements
- Strong experience delivering data centre projects in a senior or lead engineering role
- Solid understanding of high‑availability design and resilience strategies (e.g. N+1, 2N)
- Proven ability to lead design reviews, QA/QC, and technical assurance
- Experience supporting projects through to commissioning and handover
- Familiarity with digital engineering and BIM tools
- Background in mechanical or electrical data centre infrastructure
