Project Engineer - Heavy Civil Construction
Location: Boise, ID
Salary Range: $85,000 - $125,000 (DOE)
A well‑established heavy civil general contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support the delivery of complex infrastructure and civil construction projects in the Boise area. This role offers strong exposure to field operations, project controls, and long‑term growth opportunities within a collaborative project team.
Experience Needed
- 1-5+ years of experience supporting heavy civil or earthwork construction projects
- Exposure to projects involving earthwork, underground utilities, roadways, or site development
- Experience assisting with RFIs, submittals, quantity tracking, and cost control
- Field and office coordination experience with superintendents, subcontractors, and vendors
Qualifications Needed
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Strong understanding of plans, specifications, and construction documents
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard project documentation workflows
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, team environment
- Willingness to work onsite and support active construction projects
