[SIN] M/E Associate - Building Services
Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee full project delivery for Electrical or Mechanical building services projects from concept to completion.
- Act as the client-facing lead, presenting solutions, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships.
- Manage, mentor, and support a team of engineers (junior-senior), ensuring high technical standards and design quality.
- Coordinate design and resources with regional offices to support workshare delivery across APAC.
- Provide technical leadership for your discipline (Electrical or Mechanical) while ensuring strong integration with the broader MEP team.
- Develop practical, buildable, and code‑compliant solutions; address design coordination challenges early.
- Lead internal design reviews, QA/QC, and ensure compliance with Singapore codes and authority requirements.
- Support project planning, programme management, reporting, and stakeholder coordination.
- Represent the discipline in client, contractor, and authority meetings throughout the lifecycle of the project.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering (Building Services / MEP).
- Typically 8+ years of consultancy experience with proven leadership in design and project delivery.
- Strong capability to lead and coordinate MEP work, within your discipline, on complex building projects.
- Excellent client-facing presence, communication skills, and confidence in presenting technical solutions.
- Experience mentoring engineers and leading small, multidisciplinary teams.
- Solid understanding of Singapore's authority processes, codes, and design standards (or strong ability to get up to speed quickly).
- Strong problem-solving ability and comfort working in fast-paced, multicultural project environments.
