Site Supervisor - Transmission line
Position Overview:
We are currently hiring a Transmission Line Superintendent for a 16-week contract to lead field operations on high-voltage transmission line projects across Texas. This role is ideal for seasoned professionals seeking short-term engagements with competitive pay and the opportunity to work on impactful infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily construction activities for transmission line projects.
- Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to meet project timelines and quality standards.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory compliance.
- Manage crew scheduling, equipment logistics, and material deliveries.
- Conduct site inspections and resolve field-level issues.
- Maintain accurate records and daily reports.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in transmission line construction, including supervisory roles.
- Strong understanding of transmission line construction methods and safety standards.
- Ability to interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Willingness to travel and work in various locations across Texas.
- Valid driver's license; CDL and OSHA 30 preferred.
Preferred Experience:
- Experience with voltages ranging from 69kV to 500kV.
- Familiarity with both union and non-union crews.
- Prior work with major utilities or EPC contractors.
- Storm restoration or emergency response experience.
