The Opportunity

We are looking for a motivated Land Origination Manager to lead the identification and acquisition of land for utility-scale solar, wind, and battery storage projects across Japan.
日本全国での大規模太陽光、風力、蓄電池プロジェクトのための土地の特定および取得を主導する、意欲的なランドオリジネーションマネージャーを募集しています。

Key Responsibilities
主な業務内容

  • Identify and evaluate land suitable for renewable energy projects.
    • 再生可能エネルギープロジェクトに適した土地の特定と評価
  • Build and maintain relationships with landowners, local communities, and real estate agents.
    • 地権者、地域コミュニティ、不動産業者との関係構築と維持
  • Conduct due diligence on land, including zoning, grid access, and topography.
    • 用地のゾーニング、送電網へのアクセス、地形などの初期調査の実施
  • Negotiate land lease or purchase agreements with support from legal and development teams.
    • 法務・開発チームと連携し、土地の賃貸または購入契約を交渉
  • Maintain a land origination database and manage the project pipeline.
    • 土地取得データベースの管理およびプロジェクトパイプラインの維持
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth project development.
    • 社内の開発、エンジニアリング、許認可チームと連携し、円滑なプロジェクト推進を支援
  • Monitor regulatory changes and land policies affecting project feasibility.
    • プロジェクトの実現可能性に影響を与える規制や土地政策の動向を把握
  • Represent the company in meetings with local authorities and stakeholders.
    • 地方自治体や関係者との会議における会社代表としての対応

Qualifications & Experience
応募資格・経験

  • Bachelor's degree in real estate, engineering, environmental studies, or related field.
    • 不動産、工学、環境学、または関連分野の学士号
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in land origination or renewable energy development in Japan.
    • 日本国内での土地取得または再生可能エネルギー開発における5年以上の経験
  • Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
    • 優れた交渉力と対人スキル
  • Deep understanding of Japanese land use laws and permitting processes.
    • 日本の土地利用法および許認可プロセスに関する深い理解
  • Fluent in Japanese; English proficiency is a plus.
    • 日本語:ビジネスレベル必須、英語:尚可
  • Willingness to travel frequently within Japan.
    • 日本国内での頻繁な出張が可能な方
