We're looking for a Special Inspections Lead to help support and grow a high-performing inspections group. This role is ideal for a Senior Inspector, Lead Inspector, Welding Inspector, or Special Inspections Supervisor looking to take on greater responsibility while remaining technically involved in projects.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead and coordinate special inspection activities across multiple projects
- Serve as a technical resource for structural steel and welding inspections
- Mentor and support junior inspectors and technicians
- Review inspection reports and ensure quality and compliance standards are met
- Coordinate field assignments and project schedules
- Build and maintain relationships with contractors, owners, and design teams
- Support proposal development, budgeting, and project planning efforts
- Remain engaged in high-profile field projects when needed

- AWS CWI (Certified Welding Inspector)
- AWS SCWI (Senior Certified Welding Inspector)
- ICC S1 Structural Steel & Bolting Special Inspector
- ICC S2 Structural Welding Special Inspector
