Overview

A global provider of automation and integration solutions is seeking a seasoned Senior Business Development Manager to spearhead growth in the mission critical (data center) sector. This role requires a proven leader with strong industry relationships, technical knowledge, and a hunter mentality to establish new business and expand existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic growth plan for the mission critical market

  • Build and maintain relationships with EPCs, OEMs, contractors, and end-users

  • Serve as the primary client interface, presenting solutions and capabilities

  • Drive consistent customer engagement through meetings, proposals, and presentations

  • Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and competitive bids

  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and conferences

  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities

  • Cultivate long-term partnerships with senior decision-makers

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering preferred

  • 5+ years of business development/sales experience in automation or electrical integration for mission critical facilities

  • Established network within EPCs, GCs, OEMs, and data center clients

  • Hands-on familiarity with major control system platforms (Ignition, Rockwell, Wonderware, Emerson DeltaV)

  • Demonstrated success in winning new business and growing accounts

  • Experience with system integration or specialized contracting firms

  • Strong communication, presentation, and independent work skills

  • Willingness to travel and represent the company at industry events
