Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Bridge Engineer to join our Ohio team. This role involves designing, analyzing, and managing bridge and structural projects for transportation infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis and design for bridges and related structures.
- Prepare plans, specifications, and cost estimates in compliance with state and federal standards.
- Conduct inspections and evaluations of existing structures.
- Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Structural emphasis preferred).
- Professional Engineer (PE) license in Ohio or ability to obtain within 6 months.
- 7+ years of experience in bridge design and structural engineering.
- Proficiency in structural analysis software (e.g., STAAD, SAP2000) and AutoCAD/MicroStation.
- Strong knowledge of AASHTO and ODOT standards.
