We are seeking a Junior Structural Engineer with up to five years of experience who is eager to develop technically, work on architecturally significant projects, and gain exposure to performance‑based design in one of the Bay Area's most respected engineering practices.

The Role
As a Junior Structural Engineer, you will work closely with senior engineers and project managers across a diverse range of building types. This is an excellent opportunity for an early‑career engineer looking to build a strong technical foundation while gaining hands‑on experience in seismic and performance‑based design.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in structural analysis and design for new and existing buildings
- Prepare engineering calculations, design drawings, and technical reports
- Support seismic evaluation and retrofit design efforts
- Coordinate with architects, contractors, and internal design teams
- Participate in site visits, field observations, and construction support
- Develop proficiency in performance‑based design methodologies
Candidate Profile
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- 0-5 years of structural engineering experience (internships count)
- EIT certification preferred or actively pursuing
- Experience with common structural analysis and design software
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Interest in seismic engineering and innovative structural solutions
- Based in Marin County or willing to commute
