Structural Engineer - Project Manager

The Role:

The position of Project Manager will offer you the ability to apply your knowledge of structural engineering and design to steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures. As a key member of the engineering team, you will work on a range of projects in all stages from conceptual design through construction. It is a fast-paced environment that requires the ability to work both independently and in a leadership role as part of a team.

Duties:

This is a diverse role and the duties include:

  • Preparation of engineering drawings, specifications, calculations, analytical models, reports, and correspondence
  • Construction administration including review of shop drawings, RFI's and field observation
  • Attend internal and external meetings with clients and design team members

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years experience in structural engineering with emphasis on building structures
  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil/Structural Engineering
  • PE license
  • Knowledge of building codes and standards such as IBC, ASCE, AISC, ACI
  • Expertise with structural programs including RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, REVIT
  • Project and staff management experience
  • Excellent planning and organizational experience
  • Highly motivated, proactive, and willing to take on new challenges

Anticipated Salary Range: $100,000 to $140,000
