What You'll Do:

  • Lead structural engineering tasks including calculations, analyses, and report preparation.
  • Develop drawings and specifications in coordination with other disciplines from concept through construction.
  • Mentor junior staff both in-person and remotely across multiple office locations.
  • Support business development through proposal writing, estimating, and client interviews.
  • Participate in construction administration including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits.

What You Bring:

  • 10+ years of progressively responsible design experience, with a focus on steel and concrete structures (experience with CMU, cold-formed steel, and wood is a plus).
  • Strong understanding of the International Building Code, ASCE 7, Whole Building Design Guide, and other relevant standards.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering (Structural concentration) or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia or ability to obtain reciprocity within 3 months.
  • Proficiency in design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural Systems, RISA, RAM Concept, ETABS, Mathcad, and other material-specific software.
  • Eligibility to work in the U.S. and obtain a security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with federal and industrial projects.
  • Familiarity with both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build procurement structures.
  • Experience in blast design.
  • Advanced degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering.
