What You'll Do:
- Lead structural engineering tasks including calculations, analyses, and report preparation.
- Develop drawings and specifications in coordination with other disciplines from concept through construction.
- Mentor junior staff both in-person and remotely across multiple office locations.
- Support business development through proposal writing, estimating, and client interviews.
- Participate in construction administration including RFI responses, submittal reviews, and site visits.
What You Bring:
- 10+ years of progressively responsible design experience, with a focus on steel and concrete structures (experience with CMU, cold-formed steel, and wood is a plus).
- Strong understanding of the International Building Code, ASCE 7, Whole Building Design Guide, and other relevant standards.
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Civil Engineering (Structural concentration) or Architectural Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
- Registered Professional Engineer (PE) in Georgia or ability to obtain reciprocity within 3 months.
- Proficiency in design tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, RAM Structural Systems, RISA, RAM Concept, ETABS, Mathcad, and other material-specific software.
- Eligibility to work in the U.S. and obtain a security clearance.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with federal and industrial projects.
- Familiarity with both Design-Build and Design-Bid-Build procurement structures.
- Experience in blast design.
- Advanced degree in Structural or Architectural Engineering.
