Structural Project Engineer

Key Responsibilities
You will contribute to meaningful, varied building projects while working directly with senior engineers and project managers. Responsibilities include:
- Developing structural design solutions for portions of buildings and structures aligned with project objectives and design criteria.
- Preparing and interpreting drawings, plans, and details, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Delivering structural designs on time and within budget, coordinating with the Project Manager as needed.
- Checking the work of others and collaborating effectively within the design team.
- Designing structural components using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.
- Performing intermediate‑level engineering tasks, field work (including structural and foundation inspections), and producing technical documentation.
- Leading smaller projects under supervision and supporting external communication with clients or consultants where assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering with structural emphasis (Master's preferred).
- EIT required; PE preferred.
- 3-6 years of experience in structural engineering.
- Working knowledge of structural design, computer‑analysis methods, and standards/specifications.
- Proficiency or familiarity with relevant software such as AutoCAD, Revit, RISA, or equivalent tools.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary design team.
