Site Operations Leadership
Oversee all on-site activities and personnel, ensuring seamless execution of project timelines, construction sequencing, logistics, and implementation strategies. Maintain direct accountability for safety protocols, site security, municipal coordination, and quality assurance-especially on complex builds involving mechanical/electrical rough-ins, facade systems, and enclosure details. Projects may also include extensive site work upgrades and warranty-related responsibilities.
Team & Project Management
- Lead, coach, and support field teams to ensure high performance.
- Manage day-to-day project execution and scheduling.
- Direct site logistics, safety enforcement, and security measures.
- Coordinate quality control efforts and interface with third-party consultants.
- Act as the primary site contact and client liaison when required.
Municipal Coordination
- Secure and maintain all necessary permits and approvals.
- Build and sustain positive relationships with local inspectors.
- Schedule and facilitate required inspections.
- Ensure full compliance with municipal codes and regulations.
- Obtain and submit final occupancy documentation.
Safety Oversight
- Implement and uphold site-specific safety plans and documentation.
- Lead weekly safety briefings and toolbox talks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and inspection-ready job site.
- Address and document safety issues and inspection outcomes.
Quality Assurance & Control
- Review construction documents for feasibility and sequencing.
- Assist in developing and executing QA/QC procedures.
- Coordinate testing and inspections with agencies and subcontractors.
- Ensure all work aligns with project specifications and standards.
- Conduct pre-punch walkthroughs to identify and resolve issues.
Scheduling & Coordination
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of the master project schedule.
- Plan and coordinate subcontractor activities, deliveries, and inspections.
- Maintain a rolling 3-week look-ahead schedule.
- Manage submittals to ensure timely procurement of materials.
Construction Execution
- Participate in project kickoff and site mobilization.
- Manage labor, materials, tools, and equipment on-site.
- Ensure accurate layout and maintain site security.
- Monitor subcontractor performance and compliance.
- Track project documentation, changes, and field conditions.
- Maintain daily reports, timecards, and support RFIs and change orders.
- Communicate progress for billing and draw requests.
Project Close-Out
- Complete final punch lists and process final billings.
- Return redlined drawings for as-built documentation.
- Assist in collecting warranties, O&M manuals, and lien releases.
- Support the PM in subcontractor closeout and attend final turnover meetings.
